Satish Mehta with over 32 years of experience spanning housing finance, credit bureaus and fund management is a financial services industry pro.

A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Satish worked with HDFC (India’s first private sector housing finance institution where he was employee no. 2) for over 20 years. He was involved in various functions including business development, training, knowledge creation, consulting advisory services, due diligence for investments, entry strategies, projects for multi-lateral agencies, operational management, human resource management and loan syndication. He was also involved with / responsible for negotiations and closure of discussions with various international organisations to raise funds, obtain consultancy assignments and organise workshops.

He was responsible for the business plan and joint venture that HDFC started with GE – USA. The joint venture, Countrywide consumer finance was in the business of giving consumer loans pan India.

Satish was the founding Managing Director of CIBIL, India’s first credit information bureau – a joint venture between Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC), State Bank of India, Transunion and Dun & Bradstreet.

Satish has been an institution builder. With over three decades of hands on experience across various functions including business development, training, knowledge creation, consulting advisory services, investments, entry strategies, operational management and human resource management, Satish is an expert of business knowledge for all who seek to understand and practice business.   He has been a regular speaker at various events with the recent ones with colleges and students.

Suresh Lulla, a distinguished alumnus of IIT Bombay, has made a mark through his work in the field of Quality. He founded Qimpro Consultants, in 1987, which is India’s first dedicated Quality Management consulting firm. Since its inception Qimpro, has helped save Rs. 175 billion (or Rs. 17,500 crores) in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) for several companies across manufacturing, service and healthcare sectors, in India and abroad.

A veteran professional with over 40 years of experience as a management consultant, speaker and author, he is especially known for his humility.

He was tutored and mentored by Dr. J M Juran, ‘the father of Quality’, who along with Mahatma Gandhi and Ramakrishna Bajaj form the trinity of his role models. (He jokes that among the things he has in with common them is a bald head.)

In 2004, Mr Lulla was awarded the Indian Merchants Chamber (IMC) Juran Centennial Medal for his pioneering contribution to quality practices in India.

He is the Chairman, IMC Quality Awards Committee which adjudges the IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Award as well as the IMC Juran Medal.

Tarini was a banker for 25 years from 1985 until 2010, and held senior positions during that tenure. She has worked with ANZ Grindlays Bank (now part of Standard Chartered Bank) both in India and overseas, a couple of European Banks and more recently with HDFC Bank.

She began her career in the Global Markets (Treasury) division of ANZ Grindlays Bank, Mumbai; and continued to be a Treasury and Financial Markets specialist for most of her 25 year career with various banks.

She holds several firsts – first woman treasurer in the country, first woman dealer and first woman CEO of a foreign bank.

Her areas of core competency are the foreign exchange, fixed income and money markets and asset-liability management in banks.

She has conducted training workshops for banks, insurance companies, business schools and training institutes.

Tarini is the program advisor and facilitator for Foreign Exchange courses.

Vipin Khandelwal
Vipin has over a decade of experience in different companies,  like Quantum Information Services and Bharti Airtel, in financial and business analysis, financial planning and business development.

In his erstwhile role, he was the CEO of Quantum Information Services Pvt Ltd, a financial planning and mutual fund research company. With Quantum, he was involved for more than 5 years in business development, customer service; fee based financial planning and investment advisory roles.

He set up the North India Operations for the company. Further, in an operations role at the corporate office, he was instrumental in creating and launching the new website and eCommerce system and development of internal processes.

He along with Satish is a facilitator for the Business 360 and Finance 360 degrees courses.
